INFINITI Turns Its Flagship SUV Into a High-Performance With The QX80 R-Spec

For good reason, driving enthusiasts everywhere are eager to see the INFINITI QX80 R-Spec concept eventually make its way into production. When it debuted at the 2025 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, this high-performance SUV immediately captured attention nationwide. The QX80 R-Spec not only sports an especially bold look, but it also delivers an incredible surge of power beneath the hood.

R-Spec Performance

At the heart of the QX80 R-Spec is a twin-turbo V6 engine derived from the iconic GT-R sports car. With upgraded components—including custom turbochargers and an enhanced fuel system—the engine produces an astonishing 1,000 horsepower. While official performance statistics haven’t been released, the SUV’s acceleration is expected to be nothing short of thrilling.

To further refine its handling, engineers outfitted the model with a custom coilover suspension. Meanwhile, wide 315-section Yokohama Parada Spec-X tires help maximize traction.

Racy Appearance

The QX80 R-Spec’s motorsport-inspired design was impossible to miss at the SEMA Show. A custom body kit highlights its wider, more aggressive stance. Its 24-inch bronze wheels paired with yellow brake calipers add even more character. The striking Midnight Purple wrap also grabbed plenty of attention. At the rear, large quad exhaust outlets and an oversized roof spoiler complete the performance-focused aesthetic.
