The INFINITI QX80 continues to stand as one of the highest-rated large SUVs available today. At The Quail during Monterey Car Week, INFINITI recently showcased two new QX80 concept models: the QX80 Track Spec and the QX80 Terrain Spec. The Track Spec emphasizes thrilling on-road performance, while the Terrain Spec focuses on increased off-road capability. Although these concept models are not yet scheduled for production, they offer an exciting look at the future possibilities of the QX80 lineup.

QX80 Track Spec

The QX80 Track Spec is powered by an enhanced 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine. Updates to the turbo system and a performance-focused exhaust significantly boost output, with INFINITI estimating more than 650 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque. This setup delivers strong, responsive acceleration, supported by a track-tuned chassis that sharpens handling. Large Brembo brakes help ensure controlled, confident braking performance.

Visually, the QX80 Track Spec makes a bold statement. A sculpted rear diffuser and quad exhaust tips emphasize its sporty nature. The matte black-blue exterior wrap adds distinctive style, while exclusive 24-inch wheels reinforce the concept’s aggressive, performance-driven stance.

QX80 Terrain Spec

Designed with adventure in mind, the QX80 Terrain Spec appeals to drivers who venture off the beaten path. This concept is outfitted with all-terrain tires, dedicated off-road wheels, and a raised ride height to confidently tackle rough landscapes. Invisible Hood View technology enhances trail visibility, helping drivers navigate obstacles with ease. Despite its rugged foundation, the Terrain Spec continues to prioritize ride comfort.

The QX80 Terrain Spec also showcases bold, off-road-inspired styling. Heavy-duty fender flares and a roof-mounted lightbar highlight its adventurous character, while a side-exit exhaust adds a muscular touch. The satin dark basalt vinyl wrap enhances its rugged look, and the integrated pop-up tent provides added convenience for outdoor excursions.
