Trio of Turbocharged Engines

Last year, the Q50 gained three new turbocharged engines which carry over for 2017. The first is a turbo 2.0-liter four-cylinder with 208 horsepower and 258 lb.-ft. of torque. This is followed by a twin-turbo 3.0-liter V6 capable of generating 300 hp and 295 lb.-ft. of torque. A specially tuned version of the V6, offered on the Q50 Red Sport, makes 400 hp and 350 lb.-ft. of torque. The Car Connection's 2017 INFINITI Q50 review calls this edition of the V6 is a "delight."

In addition, the Q50 Hybrid Premium and Premium AWD come equipped with a 360-horsepower 3.5-liter V6, lithium-ion battery and electric motor.

More Safety Features Than Competitors

The INFINITI Q50 offers 10 advanced safety options, while the Mercedes-Benz C-Class only offers seven and the Lexus IS only five. Technologies like Backup Collision Intervention and Predictive Forward Collision Warning aren't available on these two rivals, nor the BMW 3-Series and Audi A4, which also offer fewer safety options overall. Other notable technologies available on the 2017 INFINITI Q50 in Springfield include Lane Departure Prevention and Blind Spot Intervention.
