If you have purchased a newer INFINITI vehicle, it probably comes equipped with a NAVTEQ navigation system that provides easy-to-follow directions to practically any location. This system may be reliable, but it does need to be updated occasionally with new maps and points of interest.
To ensure that you have the latest NAVTEQ version available for your INFINITI vehicle, go to Navigation.com and look for your vehicle’s make and model with the menus on the left side of the screen. Look for the correct map update for your region and vehicle; click “Add to Cart” and “Check Out” to purchase the update.
NAVTEQ sends out their updates on DVDs that can be used in your vehicle. When the DVD containing your update arrives, insert it in your INFINITI vehicle’s DVD drive and start the engine. Your maps should update automatically while your car is running.
