For the first time, the Q50 took home this award. However, the QX50, QX60, and QX80 won in multiple categories. In the 25th year, AutoPacific identified the most satisfying vehicles on the market. They surveyed 89,000 new car owners and light truck owners to find the perfect vehicle.

ABOUT NEWBORNS IN NEED IN SPRINGFIELD
April 05, 2021When a baby is born, their family may not have the necessary things to care for them. Newborns in Need, Missouri Chapter, aims to help solve that. In fact, in 2017, this organization helped over 13,000 babies in and around Greene County. They are providing much-needed items to nearly 1,000 babies each month and working with over 80 local agencies to change the quality of life of our local children.
At the Newborns in Need facility, volunteers work toward quilted, sewing, and knitting baby blankets. Some volunteers choose to do this from home. This charity organization also takes donations from the community. Common items they receive include soft toys, sleepers, quilts, and other forms of blankets.
Newborns in Need creates layettes filled with the items they have made and the items they have collected. Local hospitals, social agencies, and clinics receive their larger ones, which contain 45 items. They also create smaller ones to give out to pregnancy care centers. This organization also makes donations to schools, pantries, doctor’s offices, WIC offices, and homeless shelters. The goal is to reach as many newborns and children in need as possible.

If you have purchased a newer INFINITI vehicle, it probably comes equipped with a NAVTEQ navigation system that provides easy-to-follow directions to practically any location. This system may be reliable, but it does need to be updated occasionally with new maps and points of interest.
To ensure that you have the latest NAVTEQ version available for your INFINITI vehicle, go to Navigation.com and look for your vehicle’s make and model with the menus on the left side of the screen. Look for the correct map update for your region and vehicle; click “Add to Cart” and “Check Out” to purchase the update.
NAVTEQ sends out their updates on DVDs that can be used in your vehicle. When the DVD containing your update arrives, insert it in your INFINITI vehicle’s DVD drive and start the engine. Your maps should update automatically while your car is running.

ABOUT THE INFINITI QX60 MONOGRAPH
September 25, 2020INFINITI has revealed the forthcoming QX60 Monograph, a concept nearing production and dramatically different from the current QX60 SUV. QX60 Monograph is a design study of where INFINITI will take the design of its three-seat crossover SUV. We can expect that this concept will inform the future design of the QX60 for the 2022 model year.
Seen in the reveal, the QX60 Monograph has a sleek, futuristic design. It features a larger trapezoidal-shaped grille, similar to the grille design shared across the INFINITI lineup. The width of the headlights shrinks a bit, giving the front end a more aggressive stance. There are not many sculpted lines; the QX60 Monograph goes with a clean futuristic look that features retracting door handles that blend into the design. The QX60 Monograph also incorporates a floating roofline, helped by redesigning the signature D-pillar design that has been an INFINITI SUV trademark. The design of the QX60 Monograph also nods in the direction of truck-like proportions. The hood is less sloped at the grille and looks larger with the pushed back windshield line.
The QX60 Monograph is expected to be released in 2021; INFINITI has not revealed what the interior looks like or shared details on trim options, powertrains, technology, and safety features.

PREVIEW: 2021 INFINITI Q50
August 31, 2020The 2021 INFINITI Q50 luxury sedan is a winning combination of luxury and power. Two engines power this sedan, one that is rated at 300 horsepower and one pushing out 400 horsepower. With these powertrain numbers, this makes for a seriously fast sedan. The 2021 Q50 has an ultra-luxuriously appointed interior that includes a refreshed infotainment system. All Q50 trims can be custom-fitted to your liking with several package add-ons.
The 3.0t Pure is the base trim and has much to offer with conveniences that include ignition for a fast start, and keyless entry and exterior LED lighting. Add to the list with leather upholstery and power-adjustable front seats, two standard touchscreen displays with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integration. A six-speaker sound system comes standard on the 3.0t Pure trim. It also gets some safety features such as forward-collision warning and automatic emergency braking.
The next trim, 3.0t Luxe, has a few upgrades. The ProAssist and the EssentialTwo packages are available on this trim. The Edition 30, includes all standard features on the first two trims and adds custom trim-specific styling inside and out. The 3.0t Sport is next up, with special sporty front seats and a premium Bose sound system. The mechanical system upgrades include performance-oriented features like larger brakes, adaptive dampers, and custom bumpers.
The top-line Red Sport 400 features a unique, bold red exterior color with a matching color scheme inside. More safety options are available through the ProActive package.
There are two powerful engines offered on the 2021 INFINITI Q50. The 3.0L twin-turbocharged V6 with 300 HP and torque of 295 LB-FT. The same engine is retrofitted to push out even more horsepower and torque for the Red Sport 400 performance model, moving the needle up to 400 HP and 350 LB-FT of torque. All-wheel drive is available on all trims, along with a paddle-shift controlled 7-speed automatic transmission.
