INFINIT Iis looking to introduce a brand-new V6 engine on the market that will reside inside the upcoming next-generation QX50. Optimized to deliver top-of-the-line performance, the V6 will help boost INFINITI’s appeal as a brand and draw in luxury car shoppers from throughout the country, including right here in Springfield, Missouri.
The gas-powered V6 is said to be a game-changer for the automotive industry. According to Autocar, it will feature variable compression ratio tech that will allow it to be as efficient as a diesel engine while offering the same power and performance of a gas engine. Buyers can expect to see the new engine in 2018 when the next-gen QX50 hits INFINITI of Springfield.
Not too much information has been released about the upcoming QX50 model, but it is said to borrow some elements from the QX Sport Inspiration concept that debuted this year at the Beijing Motor Show. There have been rumors suggesting it may also offer autonomous driving technology, which would only further boost its appeal among new car buyers.
