The 2016 Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index is out and for the first time ever INFINITI has risen to the top of the ranks, beating out automotive heavyweights. The study, which measured the treatment of car shoppers in dealerships across the U.S., found potential buyers to be more satisfied with INFINITI over any other car brand.

INFINITI is no stranger to the Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index, having ranked at or above the industry average in the study over the past five years. However, over the course of the study’s 10-year history, this is the first year the automaker has ranked above every competitor, which includes popular brands such as Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Toyota, Audi and Lexus.

The Pied Piper PSI process, which connects mystery shopping measurement and scoring to industry sales success, was used to determine the rankings for the 2016 Prospect Satisfaction Index. The full study was conducted between July 2015 and June 2016 using a total of 6,157 mystery shoppers and over 50 factors were utilized in this process to generate PSI scores for each automaker.

With a PSI score of 114, INFINITI took the top spot in this year’s index, proving it’s committed to addressing and meeting the needs of prospective buyers. You can take a quick glimpse at the study below to see a portion of this year’s rankings.
