INFINITI has announced that the 2022 models will be among one of the most fuel-efficient in its industry. The 2022 models are a direct result of recent advancements in technology, implementing electric vehicle powertrains and hydrogen fuel cell technology to meet their goal. Here are some of the most fuel-efficient models from the 2022 INFINITI lineup.
1.) The 2022 INFINITI Q50
The 2022 INFINITI Q50 sedan has a 3.0-liter engine with two turbochargers along with the V6 powertrain that generates 300 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The turbocharging units ensure efficient combustion cycles that’s cooled by water and air. This 6-cylinder powerhouse has electric-controlled intake valves and hydraulic-operated exhaust valves. Running on a rear-wheel drive system, this luxurious sedan has a maximum fuel economy of 29 mpg on the highway and 20 mpg in the city. If you upgrade to the 400-hp engine block and the Intelligent All-Wheel Drive, you will get approximately 26 mpg on the highway. Both of the turbo engines are synced with a 7-speed automatic transmission system.
2.) The 2022 INFINITI QX55
The 2022 INFINITI QX55 is known as a compact SUV and is naturally efficient. This model is powered by a 2.0-liter engine with exclusive mechanical technologies. This luxurious INFINITI compact SUV powers 268 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. The Electric Valve Timing Control System is an all-new mechanical technology that’s being incorporated. A CVT system with paddle shifters transmits power to the standard Intelligent AWD system. The proprietary Direct Adaptive Steering also ensures more efficient and consistent handling on the road. The 2022 QX55 averages up to 28 mpg on the highway and 22 mpg in the city.
3.) The 2022 INFINITI QX60
The INFINITI QX60 is a midsize SUV in the Crossover Utility Vehicle category, classified as a 5-door vehicle. The 2022 QX60 has a 3.5-liter V6 engine that powers 295hp with 270 lb-ft of torque. The QX60 averages 21 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway, making it very fuel-efficient for this midsize crossover SUV.
