Come out and help support Ozarks Public Television by participating in the Color Me Rad 5k on Saturday, September 10, 2016. Scheduled to take place at Jordan Valley Park, located at 635 East Trafficway Street, this family-friendly event is guaranteed to be an exciting, weekend affair for all Springfield residents.

If you and your kids love Ozarks Public Television, then we encourage you to attend the Color me Rad 5k. This thrilling fun run is being held to benefit the OPT Kids Initiative, which raises money for broadcast programs. This includes some of the network’s most popular kid’s shows, such as Curious George, Sesame Street, Nature Cat and Arthur. With an audience of more than 50,000 children each week, Ozark’s Public Television spends over $600,000 a year on programming and requires the help of locals to continue providing educational TV shows to viewers.

Purchase your tickets to the Color Me Rad 5k today to support the network’s mission and enjoy a fun day with your family. There will be special color stations located throughout the entire course with volunteers ready to douse you in bright yellow, pink, green, blue and violet powders, providing a bit of colorful fun for all!
