September 25, 2020INFINITI has revealed the forthcoming QX60 Monograph, a concept nearing production and dramatically different from the current QX60 SUV. QX60 Monograph is a design study of where INFINITI will take the design of its three-seat crossover SUV. We can expect that this concept will inform the future design of the QX60 for the 2022 model year.
Seen in the reveal, the QX60 Monograph has a sleek, futuristic design. It features a larger trapezoidal-shaped grille, similar to the grille design shared across the INFINITI lineup. The width of the headlights shrinks a bit, giving the front end a more aggressive stance. There are not many sculpted lines; the QX60 Monograph goes with a clean futuristic look that features retracting door handles that blend into the design. The QX60 Monograph also incorporates a floating roofline, helped by redesigning the signature D-pillar design that has been an INFINITI SUV trademark. The design of the QX60 Monograph also nods in the direction of truck-like proportions. The hood is less sloped at the grille and looks larger with the pushed back windshield line.
The QX60 Monograph is expected to be released in 2021; INFINITI has not revealed what the interior looks like or shared details on trim options, powertrains, technology, and safety features.
